Fishing permits are required for ages 16 to 74. City employees, volunteer firefighters of Fire District #5, excluding their family members, shall be exempt from the requirements to purchase a Lake Wabaunsee fishing permit. A resident is defined as any citizen residing in Wabaunsee County and those who own homes at Lake Wabaunsee. The fee for opening gates in the offseason will be $50. Camping on the following holidays will require a 4 day MINIMUM for stays involving Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.\u00a0 There will be a fee of $10 to rent\/reserve a shelter house for 4 hours during NON-HOLIDAY weekends (it is free to use if available). There will be a fee of $20 to rent\/reserve a shelter house for 4 hours during HOLIDAY weekends.<\/p>\n
ALL PERMITS ISSUED AT LAKE WABAUNSEE PARK BY THE CITY OF ESKRIDGE ARE SUBJECT TO KANSAS STATE STATUTES AND BOATING REGULATIONS.<\/strong><\/p>\n
